I named my blog La Aventura [“The Adventure,” Spanish]. Although most of my stories have been about travel adventures, every once in awhile a life adventure story is warranted… because life, in itself, is an adventure, right? One of my greatest life adventures has been falling in love, however, it was also one of my hardest. It’s funny though, the hardest stories somehow always have the happiest endings.
On June 27, 2025, I married my seoul-mate, my best friend. 1,645 days we waited for each other. Across continents [South Korea to USA] we loved one another for five years. So many sacrifices, missed moments, unfair systemic immigration obstacles, and lonely nights, but we never gave up on one another. Finally, our dream came true. We are the Oforis.
